J-Con is a community and charity event raising funds for the reconstruction after the 2011 tsunami. Bringing a taste of Japanese culture to campus, there will be a Cosplay Competition, Gaming Tournament, and Panels on Japanese pop culture topics, as well as Martial Artist Demonstrations, a Vendors Room, and an Artists' Alley.

The charity project we have selected to donate the proceeds to is the Rebuilding 10,000 lives in Japan- Youth Leadership. Donate and learn about the project here:
